going home
When I was 7, living Europe, in the pyrenees , I missed the bus after school (which was around 6:30 pm) and since it was winter it got dark so quickly, I had to walk home in the snow across the mountains, I walked for a few hours until I got home safe and cold. (And I did have that pink coat with the hat)

awww. Now that's a story you can tell your kids one day. "When I was your age, I walked to school, in the snow, barefoot, uphill... both ways!"
